next generation web hosting

About Aerocore Networks

For over 5 years, Aerocore has been providing low-cost managed hosting solutions for individuals, non-profits, and businesses alike. We are proud to say that we are always looking for ways to improve our existing services, as well as add new services to our lineup. It's a new year, and the start of a new decade, and Aerocore is ready to shoot for 10 proud years of top-of-the-line service for our new and existing clients.

The Early Years

"This site was founded in December 2002 in Southwick, Massachusetts. Aerocore was designed to be a collection of everything that I liked and also what others liked designed to please the largest crowd. Aerocore was later moved to Panama City, Florida in November 2003 where it continued to grow and I started to offer hosting to a select few that met the strict criteria. In July 2004 Aerocore was moved to Sumter, South Carolina where it is presently residing."

- Brian Seymour, Former CEO

In early 2008, Brian founded a new company that focused more on his new passions in life, design and programming. Aerocore offered him a great starting spot, but quickly began to fall to the bottom of the priority list, and understandably so. The new company, Orbit Data Labs, was bringing in more visitors than Brian had ever hoped to see with Aerocore. By the fall of 2008, Aerocore's future looked grim.

Winds of Change

In January of 2009, internet entrepreneur Corey Edwards came onto the Aerocore scene once more. He had been an active part of Aerocore since 2003, but had since, left to do his own thing. Upon returning, he was very interested in what changes had taken place since his initial departure just two years earlier. After some discussion and negotiations, Corey walked away as the new CEO for Aerocore. The company had a new lease on life.

As the new owner and CEO, Corey quickly began setting into place the new ground rules for the company, as well as a new vision. Following the success of Brian's "selective hosting", Aerocore would now open its doors to the web hosting business with a brand new business model that was completely unheard of - actually giving the customer what they are paying for!

Since January 2009, the new Aerocore team has been hard at work tossing ideas around the office, and occasionally into the great recycle bin in the sky. After almost 10 months of preparation for the new market, the company is excited to launch their new website at the end of September!

"We're not going very far from Aerocore's initial vision. We have many things in the works, but one thing that will never change, is our dedication to web hosting and technology at large. Technology is evolving rapidly, and we want to be on the front lines of that evolution!"

- Corey Edwards, CEO
