January 25 Service Issues

As of January 25, 2010, at 2:30pm EST, there are issues with our servers that are causing problems with our main site, and potentially a few hosted sites as well. We are currently aware of these issues and working on them at this time. We hope to have everything correct by 4:30pm EST today.

Domain Registration Now Available

After several weeks of work, we finally have our DNS servers up and running, and we're now accepting domain registrations for new accounts, as well as domain transfers. Currently, we're only offering .com, .net, and .org domains, however, our DNS servers are being prepared for other TLDs, and we'll be adding new ones all week until we have them all locked into our systems. Domain registration with Aerocore Networks starts at just $9.99/yr!

Aerocore pwns Mnch!

On November 1, 2009, Mnch Technologies, the spin-off technology hobbyist project of Corey Edwards and Albert Zick, merged back into its parent company, Aerocore Networks. The scripts and software being developed by Mnch will now be brought into Aerocore's ownership and will continue development under Aerocore. The Mnch website will no longer be functional, and will point to Aerocore's Web Development division. This merger process will take approximately one month to complete.

Web App Hosting Coming Soon

So many people today are setting up blogs, online stores, forums, chat rooms, etc. More and more organizations, clubs, businesses, and individuals are moving to web-based software to manage their sites as opposed to traditional static html pages. With more and more web-based apps in use, isn't it about time that hosting companies catch on? Oh sure, you can always set up a high-priced hosting account and then manually install the apps, but why would you? Yea, there's also those "free" options, but then you have to fight with ads and don't get your own domain.

Current Issues 9.21.09

At this time, we are still hashing out some issues with our automatic domain registration feature. When you sign up for a new account, you can search for available domains. If your domain is available, and you choose to register it, your account will be created upon checkout and the system will be ready for your domain, however, the domain will not automatically be registered. The system will notify our staff and we will handle the registration manually until this issue is resolved.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Aerocore starts tweeting!

Some time ago, one of the monkeys in our office decided to take a break from all of his coding efforts, and started playing around on Twitter. At some point during this "break", he decided it would be fun to create a Twitter account for Aerocore. When we saw how much fun he was having simply tweeting mindless blurbs about what we were doing around the office (besides sleeping and playing Halo), we decided we'd take over and make it official. So now it is officially official! Aerocore Networks now has a Twitter account.
